The commercial hydroponic industry has grown faster than the insurance market's ability to keep up with it. Standard commercial policies are written for restaurants, retailers, and contractors — not for indoor farms with continuous crop production, high-density growing infrastructure, and water-based risk at every level.

We saw growers getting inadequate coverage — standard BOPs that excluded crop value, equipment breakdown policies with no crop loss extension, GL policies that didn't contemplate food safety liability. After enough conversations with growers who had uninsured losses, we built a practice focused specifically on this space.

Today we serve hydroponic farms across the country — lettuce operations, microgreen producers, tomato greenhouses, vertical farms, herb growers, and specialty crop facilities. Each gets a custom program built from the coverages that actually protect indoor agriculture.
